Finding Pluto

Pluto is just about impossible for a beginner astronomer to find.

You may get a glimpse of Pluto if you have an 8-inch telescope and if you know exactly where to look. Even then, Pluto is almost impossible to see amidst the stars. Without special equipment to correct distortions, even the most powerful telescope can't see Pluto.
